The radical words that we used so easily and freely when in college are now being worked more and more into reality in our hearts. All of us (as long as we are co-operating with the process) are experiencing these truths you're mentioning, but it is always good to have the "extreme" examples like your story to lead the way. Maybe my biggest fear is to lose control of my own destiny, however it really is an illusion that we have any control at all. But then you still make a strong challenge to eat better and be more responsible as Christians... I think it is a dichotomy that we must all pursue. To both let the Lord be in control, and yet actively pursue Him and His will with our whole "heart, soul, and mind." Action with an open hand, as Tim Rohrer always says.
